John Spies has been in the Entertainment Industry in Australia for 40 years. Playing Piano Bars, DJ'ing & working in bands from 15 years of age.

He began John Spies Entertainment Pty Ltd in 1980 when he moved to Sydney. This company has provided Entertainment, Promotions, Trivia Nights, Compere's & Promotional Staff to The Club & Hotel Industry for almost 4 decades as well as performing as an MC & Public Speaker in the Corporate Sector.

In 1985 he opened, with his partners, the first of 11 Night Clubs (within clubs), Joker's Nite Spot in the Cronulla Workers Club, Players at Avalon Beach & Miranda with venues in Canberra, Woolongong, Newcastle & The Riverina.
